Uncle John, you're leaving us seems quite surreal, it just felt like you'd always be around, as you always had been throughout all our lives. I am eternally grateful for your support of your sister, our mum, in her last years. She lit up at your visits and for those short whiles the hands of time seemed to rewind somehow. For all those happy memories though, I have most admiration for how you lived out your life - not as a journey to a final destination but dancing to life on the way - through your children, grand children and ever expanding family of friends through your love of cars. An aspirational and fabulous finale.
